A Dolls House Continued

Im going to pick up after she leaves Torvald.

Nora was officially on her own and she was very unprepared. Her first thought was to go to Dr Rank so she did. She searched the town for him and finally someone knew where he was. She made her way to him. She went into the room in silence and found him laying on his death bed. He seemed extremely ill but had no problem greating Nora. After a couple of minutes he told her to come closer. She moved towards him and listened closely. He told her "I paid Torvald the debt you owed him." "You knew!" Nora replied. Dr Rank answered "I always knew Nora but that never changed my feelings for you." He also had explained to her that he left her money. He left her enough to start a new and thats exactly what she did. Years later Nora ran into Torvald and just like Kristina she saw a change. She took him back and this time shes was the one who took charge. Whos the squirrel now?

Act 2

The story continues with Nora thinking about what would happen if Torvald found out her dark secret. To Nora this thought is Excruciating and she prefers not to be caught. Forging a signiture is a pretty big deal and not to mention a crime. She told Kristina,an old friend, her situation and she said she would help. Nora was preparing for her Tarantella as Kristina talked some sense into Krogstad. What she told Krogstad saved Nora for a while but Kristina decided to leave the letter there.
Some the characters have developed since the first act. Nora has begun to see how Helmer really is and she thinks he is intolerable. Its beginning to seem like Nora is ready to leave. Helmer seems to stay the same and is still oblivious of the situation. Eventually the secret would come out but I had no clue how he would react. All I could do is wish Nora good luck.

Act 1

This story begins with a married couple. This couple had a "SPECIAL" relationship where the husband ,Torvald, makes the money and the wife, Nora, spends the money. She down grades herself to make him happy. He treats her like a stupid little pet and makes fun of her. He has pet names for her like scatter brain, feather brain or squirrel and they're offensive but she doesnt care because he has money. Nora is all about the money so when she heard he got a promotion she began spending money on anything possible. A great example was macaroons or christmas presents. Now there is a secret among Nora and Krogstad. She had borrowed money to go to Italy in order to save Helmers life. Eventhough it was a good deed it was bad for a women to get a loan without her husbands consent. So now she is getting blackmailed by Krogstad and her relationship is at risk. What will she do now?

I mean I guess its just Henrik Ibsen

Hi, this is Michael A. Lopez with his first blog. Lets get to the point. We're here for one reason, for the Dollhouse. The authors name is Henrik Ibsen. He was born on March 20th 1828 and died May 23rd 1906. Henrik Ibsen was a Norwegian playwright, theatre director and a poet. He was known as "The Father of Realism" and was the founders of Modernism in the theatre. He had many major works incluing Brand, Peer Gynt, An Enemy of the People, Emperor and Galilean, and A Dolls house. I have no clue what the stories about but my guess is that its about a family based off of lies. It involves fake people like barbies in a "Dollhouse".
